Cloud ver. Thunderstorm by TysonTan Cloud ver. Thunderstorm by TysonTan
Extvia is now renamed to Tyson Tan! Just call me Tyson! :)

This is Cloud the Electric Fox from my still-under-preparing project SYNC [link] Picture shows one of his alternative form "Thunderstorm". He can change his body into any shape, and now I give him the even more flexibility to use power like electricity and fire. His design will change according to the element he is currently using.

I may mark the Chinese word "雷云" somewhere on his body which means "Thunder Cloud".

Thank you for reading and your favs & comments too! I hope you enjoy the picture! ^^

Other Cloud pictures:

Operation system: Ubuntu [link] . Sketched in Mypaint [link] , colored in Krita [link] with their default brush sets. I thank all open source organizations and communities that make this possible.

A very unique and original piece showing your very individualized style of artwork and perception. Different than your other pieces, this particular piece of work shows a very rough style that I'm not used to seeing in your usually very smooth pieces of work. I enjoy the almost abstract nature that the rough style gives off, especially the blue-green nuance that appears near both the subject's tail and ears.

The only part that I deeply question about this piece however, is the lack of distinction between the arm and the tail, as well as with the arm and the body on the left side of the picture. While the arm on the left doesn't bother me too much, the arm on the right seems too distant from the body, too detached. Similarly, the arm blends much too well with the tail, making things confusing for the eye. I question whether it was purposeful simply because the line of the tail matches through the coloration of yellow on the hand. Overall, very confusing.

Focusing away from the hand, the color scheme itself is very well chosen, and the contrast between the blue and yellow makes for a very appealing piece, especially as it is shown more by the contrast o the grey base.

Lastly, the other thing that I noticed and questioned were the shadows under the subject. One shadow leads to the other leg while the other leads away from the subject. At first glance it seems to be stemming from the leg, but upon closer examination, I wonder if it's supposed to be the shadow of the tail instead. Either way, the shadows don't impact the piece heavily, so I won't continue too much on them.

Overall, the piece was executed decently. I enjoyed it. And so I give the rating that I do. Thank you for your time and allowing me to critique such a nice piece of work.
